Forests

Healthy, resilient forests support thriving communities. We bring together diverse partners to restore forest health, reduce wildfire risk, and strengthen the rural economies that depend on our forests.

Our Programs

Four programs advancing community-led forest stewardship across the Pacific Northwest.

Community-Led Forest Conservation

Working with local communities to protect and restore forests that provide clean drinking water, wildlife habitat, sustainable timber, wildfire resilience, and outdoor recreation. We support locally led conservation efforts that balance ecological health with economic vitality.

Living with Fire

Helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from wildfire. Our Living with Fire program advances forest health treatments, wildfire preparedness planning, post-fire recovery, and the use of beneficial fire as a land management tool.

Central Washington

Collaborating with Tribes, small businesses, private landowners, and federal agencies in Central Washington to restore dry forests, create local jobs, and build community resilience to wildfire and climate change.

Klamath Basin

Partnering with the Klamath Tribes and other stakeholders to advance culturally significant forest management practices, restore ecosystems, and support sustainable economic development in the Klamath Basin.
